Living and working in the GTA Kat Serediuk, has acquired her BFA at Ontario College of Art and Design University. As the daughter of wildlife artist John Serediuk, Kat grew up in an extremely creative environment and imagined nothing else for her own life and career.
The question becomes, how do you embrace urbanization while striving for conservation?
"As a Canadian artist living within a large city, all works that I create attempt to investigate the containment and absence of the organic within our lives. Through this exists the exploration of the beauty within the pockets of organic matter represented in an abstract, bold and graphic way. "
With attention to detail and a love for colour Kat’s pieces are brought to life and present a dynamic new contribution to the world of fine art.
